About Shannon
Hi, I’m Shannon Conrad, a licensed acupuncturist and state-licensed psilocybin facilitator. I work at the intersection of ancient healing traditions and modern psychedelic therapy, offering both private and group journeys with a somatically informed and deeply intentional approach to transformation. My Approach
Through my practices, Spirit Point Medicine and Deep Dive PDX, I blend the wisdom of Classical Chinese Medicine with sacred psilocybin ceremony. Drawing from the Five Element tradition and the cultivation of jing, qi, and shen, I help clients explore and integrate the emotional, physical, and spiritual insights that emerge in altered states. How I Can Help
I specialize in treating mental and emotional disorders, including anxiety, depression, PTSD, and OCD, as well as addressing acute and chronic pain. I find immense fulfillment in helping individuals navigate their healing journeys. My interest in plant medicine and psilocybin facilitation developed organically from my experiences assisting people in integrating challenging psychedelic trips. I offer acupuncture as part of my preparation and integration process, allowing my clients to harness the full spectrum of their experiences for growth and healing. My focus is on holistic preparation and embodied integration, nourishing the body and harmonizing the spirit, to help you align with your inner purpose. Whether you're seeking deep healing, clarity, or philosophical insight, I offer a grounded, heart-centered space to support your journey. My Credentials
I hold a master's degree in Five-Element Acupuncture from the Tai Sophia Institute in Laurel, Maryland, and I also have a master's degree in Chinese Studies from Columbia University and the Johns Hopkins University SAIS-Nanjing Center. I graduated from Inner Trek, and have been a licensed psilocybin facilitator since 2024.Outside of Work
I am passionate about volunteering my time on various health-related and sports-related boards of directors. I believe that community engagement is vital, and I enjoy contributing to causes that promote well-being and active lifestyles. When I'm not working, you can find me traveling to new destinations, enjoying live music, exploring new restaurants, or spending quality time with my husband, two kids, and our black lab, Molly Bear.
FAQ
What is psilocybin?
Psilocybin is a naturally occurring psychedelic compound found in certain mushrooms. In a safe, supportive, and legally regulated setting, it can help bring insight, emotional release, and deep healing. I use psilocybin in guided sessions to help clients explore and integrate physical, emotional, and spiritual experiences. These sessions are part of a larger process that includes preparation and integration work. Are psilocybin sessions legal?
Yes. Psilocybin services are legal in Oregon under the Oregon Psilocybin Services Act. I am a state-licensed facilitator, which means I’ve completed required training and meet all legal and ethical guidelines for offering psilocybin-supported services. What can I expect in a psilocybin session?
Every journey is unique, but most sessions begin with grounding and intention-setting. During the session, I’ll hold space in a supportive, non-directive way as you explore your inner experience. After the journey, we’ll focus on integration—making meaning of what emerged and finding ways to apply it to your life. How do you incorporate acupuncture into psilocybin work?
Acupuncture is offered as an optional part of the preparation and integration process. It can help regulate the nervous system, release emotional or energetic blockages, and support overall balance before and after a psilocybin journey. It's a gentle, effective way to prepare the body and spirit for deep inner work.Who do you work with?
I support adults from all walks of life, especially those navigating anxiety, depression, PTSD, OCD, grief, chronic pain, or life transitions. Whether you're seeking relief, insight, or growth, I aim to create a safe, heart-centered space for your healing. What’s the difference between preparation, the journey, and integration?
Preparation involves getting clear on your intentions and building trust and safety.
The journey is the psilocybin session itself, where you explore your inner world in a supported setting.
Integration is the essential work of processing and applying what you discovered, supported by tools like acupuncture, reflection, and conversation.Do you offer group sessions or only one-on-one?
Both. I offer private one-on-one journeys as well as small, intentional group experiences. Group journeys can be powerful for feeling supported in community, while private sessions provide more individualized care. We’ll work together to decide what’s right for you.How do I know if this work is right for me?
If you're feeling called to explore psilocybin for healing, growth, or self-discovery, that’s a good starting point. In our initial consultation, we’ll discuss your goals, medical history, and intentions to see if this path aligns with your needs and whether it feels like a good fit. What’s your background and training?
I’ve been practicing healing arts since 2007 and hold master’s degrees in Five Element Acupuncture and Chinese Studies. I’m a licensed acupuncturist and completed my psilocybin facilitator training with InnerTrek. My work blends Classical Chinese Medicine, somatic awareness, and sacred ceremony to support transformation on all levels.
